Everleigh Brenner (Performer, Co-Producer) (she/they) is an actor, writer and founding artistic director of Hoo Hah House Productions, a critically acclaimed, feminist, eco-friendly production company. Favorite credits include: WALT in A PUBLIC READING OF AN UNPRODUCED SCREENPLAY ABOUT THE DEATH OF WALT DISNEY, JESSIE in Oscilloscope’s film, SOLLERS POINT and ALEX in the Audible series, RADIOMAN. After graduating from the Baltimore School for the Arts, Everleigh continued her acting training across the Atlantic at Drama Centre London graduating in 2020. Everleigh completed her masters degree in screenwriting at the London Film Academy in 2021 where she began work on her award winning, solo show, BRAVE FACE, which is showing at the Hollywood Fringe June 16-24. Brian Eckert (Director, Producer) is a director and adapter of plays and musicals invested in understanding systems, the how and why we relate to each other. Most recently in Los Angeles, he produced and directed a play dissecting another American icon in Lucas Hnath’s "A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay About the Death of Walt Disney" at the Zephyr Theater. His work has additionally been shown at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute in New York and Two River Theater. Brian is a frequent associate to director Sarna Lapine and others, including the legendary Graciela Daniele and Ruben Santiago-Hudson. He has worked Off-Broadway and regionally at Ars Nova, Atlantic Theater Company, Classic Stage Company, New York City Center, and Pasadena Playhouse. BFA: NYU
Jane Hamor (Production Design) is a Los Angeles based designer who is currently receiving her MFA at California Institute of the Arts in scenic design. As a trained dancer, Jane brings her knowledge of choreography and movement into her designs to create kinetic spaces that fuse the audience, performer, and architecture into a unified experience. Jane enjoys designing for various performance mediums; including theater, film, dance, and site-specific installation. Select credits include: UCSB School of Dance, CalArts School of Dance, Theater, and Music, The Loft Ensemble, Heidi Ducker Dance Festival, Hypernormalization, and USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Joshua Moreno (Production Design) is a visual and event designer and carpenter. Past theatrical credits include”A Public Reading of an Unproduced Screenplay about the Desth of Walt Disney” (Directed and produced by Brian Eckert, Los Angeles.) "The Last Supper and Three Years Later" (Strasberg Institute, New York). During the pandemic he started his own business taking custom furniture commissions from clients all over the country. Jamie Costin (Costume Design) has worked in costuming for over 10 years and is a graduate of UCLA Theatre Department. She has been a member of IATSE Local 705 Motion Picture Costumers since 2016. Jamie is excited to get back into costume design for theatre and hopes you enjoy the show!
Jimmy Mura (Sound Design) is a producer, sound designer, and musician. Recent works include the radio play "Testing Dunleavy-Grove" with the Fast Radio Burst! podcast, “The Last Supper and Three Years Later” at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, and the American premiere of the West End hit “The Grinning Man.” He is the composer and lyricist of the musical “Love-Letter-For-You.TXT,” currently in development. He attended Marymount Manhattan College where he left with a BA in Theatre Studies with a concentration in directing.

Elfriede Jelinek (Playwright), who was born in 1946 and grew up in Vienna, now lives in Vienna and Munich. She has received numerous awards for her literary works, which include not only novels but also plays, poetry, essays, translations, radio plays, screenplays and opera librettos. Her awards include the Georg Büchner Prize and the Franz Kafka Prize for Literature. In 2004 she was awarded with the Nobel Prize for Literature. Jackie is one of the plays in Jelinek’s series of five one-act plays, Princess Dramas - Death and the Maiden I-V.

Gitta Honegger (Translator) is the authorized translator of 2004 Nobel laureate Elfriede Jelinek. Among the plays by Jelinek she has translated are: Death/Valley/Mountain (Totenauberg), On the Royal Road: The Burgher King; Rechnitz; Charges (The Supplicants); The Merchant’s Contracts; Shadow.Eurydice Says; Fury; and Sun. Her translation of Jelinek’s opus magnum The Children of the Dead will be published by Yale University Press in 2024. She is a Guggenheim and Fulbright fellow.
“JACKIE” is produced using the title of the authorized English translation of the play. The English translation of the full German title is “JACKIE: Death and the Maiden IV,” which is part of a larger series of plays, Jelinek’s Princess Dramas - Death and the Maiden I-V.
